Constructions designed by Fint Element OÜ are based on valid standards and calculated as regular new house, if client has not declared higher demands (for example low-energy building or passive house). To avoid cold-bridges we will make thermal analysis from complicated details. We take into account the heat losses through construction, thermal-bridges and inside surface temperature to ensure the best thermal comfort across the building. Timber-frame houses External wall element (Picture 1): Outside cladding (wooden panel as standard), ventilation laths, windprotection membrane, windprotection board, timber frame/insulation 200mm, moisture barrier, installation laths/insulation 50mm, inside cladding (gypsum board or wooden panel as standard). Heat transfer coefficient of the construction U = 0.17 W/m2K, weight ~50 kg/m2. Roof element (Picture 2): Double bituminous roof underlayer, load bearing wooden board, ventilation laths, windprotection membrane, soft wood fiberboard for windprotection, roof rafters/trusses/I-beams with 350mm of insulation, moisture barrier, installation laths, inside cladding (gypsum board or wooden panel as standard). Heat transfer coefficient of the construction U = 0.12 W/m2K, weight ~70 kg/m2. Waterproof construction is designed under covering material (metal, roof stones, shingles, grass of wooden panel) as standard. Roof covering material itself is not included in this description. Fire protection wall element between apartments (Picture 3): Double fire resistant gypsum boards, timber frame/insulation 100mm, air cap, timber frame/insulation 100mm, double fire resistant gypsum boards. Fire protection ceiling element between apartments (Picture 4): Load bearing wooden board, timber frame/I-beams with 225mm of insulation, double layer installation laths, double fire resistant gypsum boards.
